I’m Aunt Mimi, a queer AUDHD artist who makes paint, draws, and plays video games in their free time. I love horses, cats, and flowers. I’ve been an artist, drawing as long as I can remember and longer, still. My unending passion for the creative drives me forward, bringing joy and color to an otherwise dull life.
I’m what you call a jack of all trades, and if I can get my hands on the tools of the trade, I will give any hobby a good go. I’m particularly interested in inks and paints. I’ve tried my hand at embroidery, crochet, knitting, sculpture, pour painting, miniature painting, wood burning, quilting, dressmaking, sewing plushies, drawing, origami, stamping, scrapbooking, and so much more. The one thing that has never left my heart is a love for all things colorful, bright, and bold.
Ever Onward,
Aunt Mimi
Our Managers
Meet Persephone and Mochi. These two keep me in line, and make sure your watercolors are properly made, packed, and shipped out!
Persephone

Persephone, or Perse for short, came from the lovely Des Moines ARL in central Iowa, having been a feral kitten in her very short four to six weeks on the street. By ten weeks, she was living it up in Aunt Mimi’s apartment, queen of the world. She never did fancy wearing a collar, and always worries Aunt Mimi when she squeezes between the window screen and the glass pane, because what would Aunt Mimi do without her? Surely she’d perish.
Mochi

Mochi is a different story. Not much is known about her past before she came to Aunt Mimi’s at around six months old, but Aunt Mimi and friends believe she was born to a family and abandoned. Mochi would eat food from a can and talk to Aunt Mimi’s friends, going so far as to approach the baby curiously. It was September, and a nasty winter was approaching, so Aunt Mimi and friends decided Mochi needed to be off the street, so Aunt Mimi took Mochi in and got her all vetted up, sought anybody who would claim to be her owner, found no one, and decided to keep the little princess. How could she not? Mochi loves to cuddle, after all.
